26 to 29 July 2010

By Kings Camp Team on August 21, 2010

We enjoyed three fantastic nights and six wonderful game drives at Kings Camp in July 2010.

The wildlife was spectacular and the facilities at Kings Camp were as good as you could wish for, if not even better. For any photographers, our guide Morné is your man. He knows where to put the vehicle for the best views and light and seems to know what the animals are going to do next. Thank you Morné for making our trips so special.

It is impossible to choose a highlight as there were so many:

Spectacular views of leopards.

  1. Thanx for the compliments Dave!

I am very glad you enjoyed your time with us and that you got some good photographs from all our wonderful sightings.

    Kind regards,

    Morn

  2. Hi Dave, Glad you enjoyed Kings Camp and saw so much, I hate to say it but "I told you so!". We arrived the day after you left and also had the most amazing sightings, 10 glorious days of pure heaven.

Great images to add to the Kings Camp collection.

    All the best

    Lynda (and Phil) James

  3. We were there in 2008 and it was pure heaven, as well! Morné is a fantastic guide. Your photos are wonderful. We will be back someday!

  4. Morné is the best! Our Houston Camp Run-a-Muck friends are on their way next week, Morné. Know you will take good care of them.

  5. So very impressed with your pics! Looks like I’m going to have to invest in a better camera. Which leopardess did you photo? Rock Fig Jr or Ntombi?

  6. My daughter and I were there just a little over a week ago and it all seems like a glorious dream. I look at my pictures often and my daughter and I share memories often over the phone. I cannot say enough about the attention to detail and the kindness of everyone on the staff.

Morné was a wonderful guide; very knowledgeable and still thrilled with finding and viewing the animals. Elvis was a talented tracker and we all loved them both.

I will be back again someday (the good lord willing) and my daughter is trying to talk her partner into taking a return trip someday as well.

Thank you so much for all the memories!
