A jungle safari with stripes…

By Morné Hamlyn on October 27, 2008

Melissa and I just returned from India and had amazing adventures…

I always had one feeling missing in my life as a guide… What does it feel like to see an animal for the first time? I always look back at my guests when something is seen and ask them how the experience was, and I always get similar reactions… “No words can describe it!!”

Well in India, staying at Junglemantra lodge (www.junglemantra.com), we had the rare opportunity of seeing Tigers. Not once, but four times!!

Now I can truely say that no words could describe my excitement and that it was such an amazing feeling to see those animals in their natural habitat…

Now I am happy to be able to understand and relate to the feeling most of you had/have after seeing something truely amazing for the first time…
