Melissa and I just returned from India and had amazing adventures…
I always had one feeling missing in my life as a guide… What does it feel like to see an animal for the first time? I always look back at my guests when something is seen and ask them how the experience was, and I always get similar reactions… “No words can describe it!!”
Well in India, staying at Junglemantra lodge (www.junglemantra.com), we had the rare opportunity of seeing Tigers. Not once, but four times!!
Now I can truely say that no words could describe my excitement and that it was such an amazing feeling to see those animals in their natural habitat…
Now I am happy to be able to understand and relate to the feeling most of you had/have after seeing something truely amazing for the first time…
There was also time for site seeing…
See you all soon at the lodge.
Morn
Wow! Those tigers are just spectacular! I’m so happy you were able to see 4! The Taj Mahal looks pretty amazing, too. Thank you for sharing these with us. Looks like you had a wonderful trip.
It is so nice to see something completely different on the weblog, yet still very much related. Your images are simply stunning. Thanks for giving us a peak…
The tiger pictures are AMAZING – the fact that you saw them in the wild from the back of an elephant! It has always been a dream of ours to view tigers in the wild… When are we opening a SIA lodge in India?
I am very jelous! Thanks Morné for sharing your rare sightings.
Wow! I’m without words… really impressing pictures, what a wonderful holiday!
And , as Patrick wrote, I’m eagerly waiting for you to open a lodge in India!
