Dead Elephant Update

By Patrick O’Brien on September 16, 2008

An update concerning the elephant carcass and Shobele pride.

The pride has been feeding on the carcass for 3 days now. Even though they have been feeding so long it still appears as if the carcass has barely been touched.

One of the young male lions was feeding of the ears of the elephant, which really looked wicked.

The image might appear to be crude but this is merely a pride exploring the opportunity that nature has provided.
