Little rangers in training

By Warren Moore on April 25, 2008

Cathan, son of Warren and Lisha invited his pre-school to Kings Camp for a morning outing.

Twenty-one children from Southern Cross pre-school enjoyed a wonderful morning in the bush. They started off on a morning drive and were rewarded with a beautiful sighting of a leopard in a tree in typical leopard pose.

We then moved onto elephant dam where the kids had time to eat their breakfast and enjoy a lesson on the animal tracks and dung around the waters edge.

The knowledge about the bush that the children showed was phenomenal.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

  1. How absolutely wonderful that these children are exposed to wildlife and, that they are eager to learn about our four footed friends. Both are our legacy. They are so lucky to be exposed to King Camp and it treasures!

  2. Hey Warren, looks like a great day out, bet the parents were in bed before the kids that night, but so true, how priveledged are we to be able to raise our kids in this environment.
