Our magnificent male leopard known to thousands of guests as Macunjani is back on duty.
This after he was severely injured in an attack that involved the two Shobele lionesses. Lucky to have made an escape from the attack, he disappeared for almost 2 weeks. I saw him on Monday morning very close to the camp calling and taking his place again as the dominant male leopard in the area. Frequent marking and pasting along the western boundary served the purpose of informing all the other potential males leopards that Macunjani is back in buisness.
