Macunjani Leopard

By Patrick O’Brien on June 9, 2008

Macunjani has been on a mission lately to enforce his status as the most dominant male leopard.

He attacked and chased a new male leopard close to Kings Camp and made it clear to the new comer that death will be inevitable if his continues to roam Macunjani‘s territory.

We found him again the next day close to Makulu Dam and followed him only to discover that he killed a young baboon and returned to feed on the carcass again.

  1. great to see that Macunjani is back to full health again and love hearing how things are at Kings Camp and on the welfare of the animals.
