The Infamous Shobele pride

By Patrick O’Brien on April 8, 2008

The Infamous Shobele pride was located a mere kilometre from the camp.

The Infamous Shobele pride was located a mere kilometre from the camp in the Nharalumi Riverbed. Upon arrival at the sighting one of the females spotted a Nyala antelope on the bank and in no time the females set the hunt in motion. Unfortunately a troop of vervet monkeys spoiled the hunt for the big cats by setting off alarm calls. The antelope responded and moved away.

Whilst all this was happing, the cubs sat and watched the females hard at work.
