Vaulted ceilings, expansive glass walls, and a double-sided fireplace create a warm, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for gathering after game drives or simply unwinding in style. The Social Fire Pit | Unwind Under the Stars

The Social Fire Pit is arguably our favourite new addition – a striking, sunken outdoor lounge designed to foster connection and relaxation under the African sky. This seating area centres around a built-in fire pit — the perfect gathering place for guests to share stories from the day’s adventures, enjoy pre- or post-dinner drinks, or simply soak in the warmth and atmosphere of the bush.

The Dining Room | Elevated Bush Dining

Dining at Kings Camp has always been a highlight, and now it’s even more exceptional. Our refurbished Dining Room features ducted air-conditioning, soft music, and a glowing new fireplace for cooler winter evenings. Sophisticated yet relaxed, it’s the perfect place to enjoy delicious cuisine and warm hospitality. What’s more, there is now a meticulously curated wine cellar

Dining Terrace | A Front Row Seat to the Wild

Mealtimes often spill out onto our expanded, fully weatherproof Dining Terrace. With sweeping views over the waterhole, this space is the very definition of al fresco elegance. Think breakfast in the morning sun and long lunches with wildlife just metres away. The terrace’s new layout and stylish furniture make it the place to linger between game drives.

The Relaxation Lounge & Walkways | Peaceful & Practical

Our brand-new Relaxation Lounge is a calming, multi-use space ideal for reading, board games, or quiet moments. All main lodge areas now connect seamlessly via a covered walkway, offering both shelter and flow—plus discreet access to our beloved Kings Warren Hide, where you can observe wildlife up close at water level.

Observation Lounge & Photographic Studio | Unforgettable Game Viewing

Upstairs, our brand-new Observation Lounge offers panoramic views of the waterhole and is a sophisticated area in which to relax and game view in comfort. The décor is rich with tropical and African-inspired elements and the furniture is a mix of textures and natural materials: Think wicker chairs with botanical cushions and plush sofas with vibrant scatter cushions. Warm, golden lighting and ceiling fans add to the relaxed atmosphere, while a tall bookcase invites you to pick a volume and settle into the peace of the moment.

The newly renovated, air-conditioned Photographic Studio is located adjacent to the Observation Lounge. Encased in glass, it also offers stunning views of the waterhole and surrounding bush, making it an ideal space to review and enjoy the images captured during your adventures.

Facilities include:

• Apple iMac with Lightroom and Photoshop for editing.
• Professional Canon Prograf 300 printer (for high-quality images up to A3+ size).
• Large screen TV for viewing.
• Seating for six guests around a spacious table, ideal for photography sessions and discussions.
• Breathtaking scenery views for inspiration and relaxation
