29/01/10: White lions at King Camp
It has always been a dream of mine to see white lions in the wild after reading the book "White lions of the Timbavati".
I never in my wildest dreams thought that it would come true. On the 28th of January I got to see 2 white lion cubs as a birthday present. After spending a quarter of my life living and working in the bush this surely is the most amazing sighting I have ever had and believe me I have seen some pretty amazing things.
Thank you to everyone at Kings Camp. Special thanks to Patrick and Daniella! You made my year! The lodge is fantastic and the service and food exquisite. The best I have experienced. Thank you Warren and Lisha and to the wonderful ranger and tracker team, Cynet and Remember.
